I am positively bursting to tell Gardners Corner of how proud I am of Victoria,(Lady of Leisure).

Victoria has used her creative genius to interpret a most beautiful painting for me. It is called 'Algarve Sunset'....and there are bananas in it :D

I have long admired an earlier painting by Victoria called 'Arizona Sunset'. Arizona Sunset is a truely invigorating painting. It is bursting with heat and energy and is simply wonderful to stare at. It envokes all sorts of associations for me, all of them good, and it is just so refreshing to lose yourself in for a few moments. 200% eye candy.

I now have another continent to lose myself in :D

LoL is a hugely talented artist, and her sunsets are second to none. There should definitely be a third painting in this trilogy [IMG]

I shall treasure my Algarve Sunset always. [IMG] [IMG]

More of Victoria's art can be found at http://www.victoriart.eu/ where you will be able to see Algarve Sunset very soon.

    Thankyou babe [IMG]

Ah that is a cracker LOL, the sunset is absolutely lovely, and the area at the bottom in the shade is particularly well done as this is where colours need to be so subtle, and I think this can so easily be overlooked. Excellent piece of work!

I could say I'm speechless about what has been said, but certain people wouldn't believe that!

Thank you, my BM Babe. It was a pleasure ... and a nightmare and my most difficult painting ... but I am delighted with it, and I guess that's what counts at the end of the day.

It will be winging it's way to you first of next week and please, please, please take a decent photo of it to show everyone! As you will see, it looks completely different in real life and you'll be lucky if it gets to the post because t'other half is completely in awe of it.

    Thank you dendro and DAG.

Dead Tree Lake seems to be the favourite Pal and is not for sale, but strangely enough prints will be available soon.

I forgot to post this up. From inspiration to first stage took just over an hour and a half !!!

    Amazing !

I think you should replicate this with a central thin meandering river, with an obscured mass tree cannopy either side rolling up and over the mountains, revealing tree ferns beneath in like a flood plane bowl affair for Mr LoL. :D

And then I will have a print :D [IMG]

Congratulations Kid Sis! This is really one of your very best, and all of them are excellent.

I knew it would be good but it turned out fantastically good! Now I am in a pickle - do I still love the Arizona Sunset best or perhaps the Algarve Sunset now? I'll have to keep looking at them and I'll probably end up loving them both best.

BM, where are you going to hang it up? Hope you will show us a picture.

It is going in the office where I seem to spend muchous time these days. I am moving the office to a different room and I will be decorating it around my Algarve Sunset ! In fact I think your super sis should come and paint a mural in the same style around the room ! :D

I am hoping Arizona comes up soon on a print, this painting makes me melt.

Your sis certainly is the real deal and I have already commissioned another :D :D :D
