Well my hands are blistered. My clothes stink and my wallet is lighter but im finally done.

A month ago lawn was given two hits of Verdone.
2 Days ago lawn was scalped and scaryfied.
Yesterday Lawn was areated and overseeded.

Doesnt sound much but it sure adds up.

    Just watering to do now!

Gardenflop.......I would give the lawn longer to recover from Verdone than two weeks before you over seed as it may damage the seed. Young grass doesn't need feeding, I would leave the new patches until next spring. :)

We have germination! Sprouts starting to show. But only in areas where the seed is under soil. The surface seeds still nothing. Should I be worried? I've tried to keep them wet. (to the extend that we now have a lot of mushrooms growing! >

Good news on the germination. :) You could try gently raking in the seed that's still on the surface or sprinkle some compost or soil on top.

What area are you in Callum? It would help members when answering questions if you were to put your area in your avatar box please, they can then adjust their answers to suit the type of plants that you're growing in your specific area. :)

Go to the top of the page, look for your screen name, hover your pointer over your name, a box will drop down, click on personal details, in the page that pops up put as much or as little as you want people to see. The location bit is 2/3rds the way down.

Hope that helps and Welcome to Gardner's Corner.

Fingers crossed for a bit more heat for you Calum. If we're lucky we might get an Indian summer. :)
