I have 2 cucumbers growing nicely, and as far as i know healthily. but after a check of both plants, i only appear to have female flowers, is this normal, do the male ones come on a bit later maybe, every flower i could see has a tiny cue under it.

Looks like you have one of the 'All Female' varieties Savo which saves you having to pinch off the males so they'll be fine:thumbsup: my only concern is them both being in the same pot as they will get big.I personally wouldn't risk separating them now though as they won't be happy being disturbed, you could maybe take the chance of removing one without disturbing the other but the chances of it surviving is slim,in my experience you only have to look at a cucumber wrong and it keels over:rolleyespink:...just keep up with feeding them every week and go easy on the watering:dbgrtmb:

An alternative to splitting them might be to pot them on as a pair into a mahoosive pot - give them a bit of room to co-exist

a mahoosive pot it will have to be then, and in not sure what variety they are, theyre both slightly different, but came with the same label on from wilkos. all the label said was grafted cucumbers, and the picture on the front showed large cuces like you get from the shops.

IMG_20150421_200926.jpg I had to remove some of the leaves, when i got them the bottoms leaves on them were in quite bad shape. they were torn brown, and i think one had some kind of fungus on it, so i removed them, to be honest the whole plants looked not so good. its taken about 3-4 weeks, but now theyre growing nicely, and the upper leaves are nice and green, no signs of infection. they were about the same height as the sticks when i first got them

My mum grows mini cucumbers in her greenhouse every year, very successfully. She has 3 in a massive wide pot at the far corner of the greenhouse. I've got my first greenhouse and am doing this myself now and mine are a bit smaller than yours (variety Diva). Having them in 1 pot makes watering easier, which is good because once they are big and fruiting heavily, they need a lot of water just because they transpire so much. The compost dries out between waterings though.

Yeah you can see the join, ill take a photo tomorrow. Because i was worried about losing one or both plants whilst repotting them, what i did was to cut 2 big windows in the tub they are in, then sink this into a new bigger tub, so im not disturbing any of the roots, but they will still be able to spread into the new tub, i also put the overflow holes on the new tub an inch up the sides , so that there should always be about n inch of water in the main tub
