    Well, it's me again.
    :blue thumb:

Sunday 5th was rushed to A and E, I felt something warm on my skin and thought
I had split coffee on my nightie...only to find blood (squeamish look away now) ......:help::thud:

dripping on floor, lifted nightdress, and found one the remaining dressings
soaked, grabbed a clean tea towel, made compress and rang 999.:yikes:

Taken to hospital at 6am, and whilst I was waiting in the cubicle , the police bought in a
foul mouthed drunken female, less than 20 years old. After a tirade of abuse she dozed off, I felt sorry for the staff.:nonofinger::mute::mute:

When I was seen, the doctor decided that brusing that should have been absorbed
by the body had not, so it erupted out instead.
    :hate-shocked::hate-shocked::hate-shocked:

I am now home, wearing what I best can describe as a mini colostomy bag.:what:

I now waiting for the District Nurse to come and show how to care for it. :what::what:

Just as well I do not mind the sight of blood.:rolleyespink:

Good afternoon liliana - well done for keeping a calm head when you had your shocking discovery.
Hope the District Nurse has now been and shown you how to care for the wound/dressings and that from now on it will be healing well.
Try not to overdo anything either but do enjoy recuperating in a little sunshine :spinning:

Thanks for all your kind wishes. :)

Update: I have had to have the ' Colostomy Bag' changed twice - firstly by the District Nurse, who basically said 'YOU WILL REST' not even any ironing (:heehee::heehee:Lolimac )

When I went to the nurse at the surgery, the first thing she said was ' Are you going to sue'?

I feel as limp as a dying piece of lettuce. I went shopping this morning and usually the OH gets to push the trolley, well I need the trolley to lean on, and I use his stick to point out what I need off the shelves. :old:

I think I shall see if I can see my own doctor on Tuesday, and see when she thinks I can have the bag off, the surgeon at the hospital is not due to see me for another 2 weeks, so I hope that I was due to have the bag on until that visit?.

Otherwise, all I want to do is sleep. :snooze::snooze: Yes, I know the body repairs itself when we are asleep, I am not used to falling asleep 3 or 4 times during the day.:snooze::snooze:
