If price was no object, what would you want from Father Christmas. I'd ask for a strimmer to help with making my compost.

I'd have to go for a large glasshouse and a pot of cash to heat it ...

Bio gas plant, complete with a compressor.

Free gas for our cooker, plus liquid plant food & compost as a by product.

I would agree with Dave - a 20' by 40' glasshouse - plus the land to put it on.

I would ask him to bring our troops home from Afghanistan - it's time to stop fighting other peoples battles.

A big thaw so we could visit mum in hospital and pick some sprouts and leeks.

About 25 acres of good land, several huge polytunnels and massive heated greenhouses. Plus the knowledge to grow the most beautiful plants you have ever seen and the ability to pass on my knowledge.
I would designate a part of the land for local ex servicemen to have thier own allotments and all the equipment and materials they need.

I would designate a large plot so that the social services could send problem kids and teenagers to learn how to make better use of thier time instead of being in trouble. Teach them something worthwhile that they can take away as a skill for life and a fantastic therapy to help them control anger and focus on something positive.

Another plot would be for those that are really hard up and want to try and grow thier own fruit and veg. Get the young single mums doing something other than claiming benefits and breeding.

Any surplus fruit and veg would be donated to the less fortunate in our society.

Iwould love to be able to do something like that. Get everyone working together to create a place of peace. Away from the daily grind and stress. A place where those people involved could come to knowing that they would be rewarded for thier efforts.

Tell you something, if my numbers came up on the Euromillions lottery, I would do it.

    Chopper.

I hope you win the Euromillions Chopper. That would be such a worthwhile project :luv:

If Santa brings me some photo paper for my printer and a few pastel crayons I'll be happy.

    0) How about a little bit of peace and happiness around the world .. but that's probably asking too much ...

Okay, let's go for a bit of a thaw for you guys in the UK. I'm 17c at the moment and have had thundertorms and torrential rains (when we can lose power for hours or telephone lines for days/weeks because we've been struck by lightning twice) but we need it and love it so we can get through the summer when we have nothing for 4-5 months. We all have to live with Mother Nature whether we like her or not ...

Wishing you all a warm and happy holiday season .... :yho:
