Just had to get some fresh air and enjoy this precious sunshine today. Couldn't believe how many people were out. It was just like a Summer Bank holiday Sunday. Grateful dogs and their walkers, kids on their new bikes, scooters and roller blades and oldies just like us - enjoying the warmth and the smell of the sea

Same here. I took the lad for a walk down the beach, expecting to have the whole beach to ourselves more or less. Loads of people were out.

        Ditto!

Had to cut my Ozzy walk in the woods short because it was filled with young couples with prams, young children with scooters/bikes and families out enjoying the sunshine (sans dogs!) Drove poor Ozzy mad with excitement and confusion so had to double back before he drove himself into a frenzy of excitement (which isn't always appreciated by non-dog lovers ... or, even fellow dog lovers! )

But, for all that, it was a wonderful sight seeing so many people utilising the local woods and enjoying the sunshine with their families - can't deny them that! :dbgrtmb:

Lots of folk out walking and looking at the floods today, I used forum tactics & just walked straight up to a group and started chatting:snork:

Think i'm getting over the shyness.

Oh My!!!, those pics take me back [too] many years, Jenny. I lived in Hastings on the West Hill for a year or two before I hoodwinked the Rif Raf into letting me join. I loved Hastings, but it got really cold during the Winter!:hate-shocked::snork:

As already stated ,everybody had the same idea. First decent day here for what seems like years.
The field behind my bungalow is waterlogged, so we went to Aberavon beach, absolutely gorgeous, sea wind in our faces, blew all the cobwebs away
