As those who know me know I like the ornamental onions of all kinds and sizes. There is one called A. flavum which is a foot tall candelabra type flower with grey/green leaves and yellow flowers. It is an eastern European species. There is a variation called A.f. tauricum which is pink and white too.
These are seedlings of the normal yellow one (the first image in picture number one). There are other variations too,but they are not yet open enough to photo.

I have some funny loose type alliums, a funny little one that is green with dark purple bits hanging off???

Like those Palustris, make a change from tight globe things - but I like them too - appart from christophii - just a bit too big for me.

I did grow Schubertii, it was huge, but it just disappeared, I think it was too cold.
