Alphine Strawberries

    Hi guys, can you recommend a good red, alphine strawberry for training up mesh please, I have never grown any before and I understand some varieties grow on the ground. By the way I am planing ahead now.:what:
    PS
    I have heard of "Alexandria" but not sure if they are climbers.

    I have never heard of alpine strawberries that climb.
    Climbing strawberries are usually more shiny in appearance but they don't have a lot of taste. They prefer colder climates. I cannot recommend you a variety but I think that they have to be trained up the rail since they have little or no climbing capabilities, they just produce long side growth.
