I would like to plant tiny Alpine flowers in my lawn but do not know which varieties to ask for or where to get advice. The idea is to plant small flowers that would not be cut when doing a moderate lawnmower cut. Has anyone got ant adice. Many thanks.

Most of them would hate it. We do have primroses and cyclamen hederifolium and coum in our lawn as weeds. We used to have a thing called Pratia (now I think Lobelia) but that is as bad as the little veronica thing which one spends a life time trying to eradicate.

    [IMG]Billyboy welcome to the forum.
Palustris is the main man regarding alpines!

Billy I'm by no means a very knowledgeable gardener I'm kind of the 'dig it in and hope it grows gardener' but one plant you could look into for your lawn is Dwarf Camomile....you will get the scent and also some flowers with this one. Hel.xxx.
