    Hi All.

Dunno if any of you have tried it before, but I thoroughly recommend it. Just picked a load yesterday to make soup with. It tastes just like watercress, is winter-hardy, and self seeds (and spreads) really easily. It's a nice easy plant to grow.
A more abundant alternative to rocket I guess..... ;)

    cheers,
    Dave

Yes. If you don't have a stream in your garden, it's great.

    Hi LG.

I don't have the packet, as I saved seeds from last year and the big patch is self-seeded.
I'd try planting straight in the garden when the forecast cold snap is over (week or so....)
The self-seeded ones from last year look like regular cress at the moment - some apperred in january, and others appeared during some recent mild weather. They should put on a spurt when it warms up.
I think the'yre quite hardy, but leave it a while and just plant straight out I guess.... [IMG]

    cheers,
    Dave

I gather that the other advantage over rocket is that you can rinse ALC whereas rocket goes floppy.

Synthhead, You are not wrong. Possibly a little early, even in the south, for planting outside but in a couple of weeks where you are and 3-4 weeks where I am, it should go great. Oh and LG you are closer to me weather-wise.
