My Viburnum, which has never berried, in the setting sun ...

    Viburnum Jan 20.jpg

It is huge, probably 4 meters tall and 3 meters wide, at least.

I was just going through my photos and found one of the Viburnum when I got my first camera (the year I joined GC). It was a few years old then and never is watered because we think it and other shrubs are over the sewage soakaway, and no it is not smelly here, highly perfumed however ...

... and here it is the following year when I had put my miniature BoPs in the ground ...

For the old timers on here, remember when I was Lady of Leisure (LoL) but changed my name when I found out what LOL meant? :hate-shocked:  :loll:

Actually, think I will continue going through photos and will put a few early ones up later.

Our expected showers did not arrive today, que surpresa! The Almond (Prunus dulcis) is just starting to bloom and the Cape Honeysuckkle (Tecoma capensis) is still blooming but the Oleander won't bloom until Summer.

I must be really dense as I don't know what LON means and can't find anything suitable!

Thank you Philip. It is the path going from the kitchen patio down to the other patios / car parking. It used to pass under a Jacaranda but we had that one cut down last year. Just have various grasses and Ajuga in that border, plus the giant pink rosebud Geranium. Have my Cyclamen on that ledge which gets virtually no sun. It is the wall to an outside / detached from the house living room.

It was the old chicken run. :chicken: We have changed the table in there now and there is a bar this end. :ccheers:

We are having 20c days so spent almost five hours outside yesterday, first having lunch then relaxing in the arbor attached to our shed which used to house the hot tub till we sold last year which is a lovely shady place to sit and have a drink. Took a few photos ...

Entrance to Arbor (shed door to right) ...

View of the Callistemon from Arbor so a little blurry cropped in. It is at least 4 meters tall now, Melaleuca to the left, also as tall ...

Cane Begonia between Arbor and stone wall to orange orchard ... only gets morning sun ...
