Call me sad .. I don't care ... I have loved him since day dot! :love30:

I've just watched the Audience programme again (currently Diana Ross is on, another great of my time) but Cliff was always 'the one' outside of country and folk. He is a 'near neighbour' of mine, 20 minutes away and no, I don't live in the Golden Triangle so neither does he and his road manager is the next-door neighbour (village townhouse) of our good friends so there are no airs and graces.

Thoroughly enjoyed the programme again ... there are just some things in life that stick with you ...

    I like the guy
Julie loves the guy, she goes to most of the UK concerts with her best friend who loves him too
She would love to live where you do, Only family ties will not let it happen

I admit to liking his early work :). MichaelJohn, that was a nice house he used to have over Nazeing Common way

Vicky, I always liked Diana Ross. Once (must have been 30 years, or more, ago), when we were staying with some friends in Greenwich, Connecticut, our friend told us she would be taking us out to lunch with a small group of other friends. I thought it would be at a restaurant but it was at a private house. Imagine my surprise when Diana Ross opened the door!!! :hate-shocked: I can't remember what we had for lunch :heehee:

MichaelJohn, we sometimes hear him on the radio but, then again, he is popular here and his vineyard and winery is immediately behind Algarveshopping near Albufeira where there is a road named after him because he gives so much to the community.

Shiney, I imagine that was quite a surprise ... but what a lovely memory (even if you can't remember what you had for lunch :heehee: ).

People ask me why I didn't ask her for her autograph but she was in a private situation and relaxing with friends. I wouldn't dream of imposing in that way. Also, didn't think of it! :heehee:
