And then there was Arwen!

Sometimes we are fortunate to find "that" someone special, I've found her!

The last few weeks have been very difficult for me for various reasons but through it all Arwen has been by my side. Often ignored by me through no fault of hers, she has remained a faithful and loving companion.

She's by my side now, her loyalty has no bounds, she's the love of my life, always there when I need comforting (whether I know it or not).

Thankyou Arwen, Daddy loves you lots!

 

That's lovely Vince. The saying is true......a dog is a mans best friend!

 

Some of my older friends have dogs and the bit we non dog owners don't realise is that dogs are so intelligent. When visiting my friend and haveing been there a hour or so her dog, seemingly fast asleep, will wake up and look at me how did he know that I have just decided to go. I may have said 'well must go see you next week' We both notice this. Like you she loves her companion.

 

Dogs are far more intelligent than we think and they really do have a sixth sense but Arwen has that little bit more, she can read my state of health (I suffer from Arthritis which plays up every now and then) and she can read my mood and adapt accordingly.

Arwen looks great.

I'm pretty sure, once a dog reaches a certain age they start to read your mind, they seem to know what you are going to do before you do sometimes.

Its probably just that they watch your every move and know your routine, even better than you do, but they certainly know more than they are often given credit for.

I know she's gorgeous, Not just any dog I would drive an 800 mile 'round trip(in a day) just to bring them home, I did with Arwen.

I didn't want her going to Scotland in the first place.

 

Getting worried now, Arwen, her mum Shadow, Tess and even our top boy Zak are fussing me, do they know something I don't?

And there was Arwens' mum, Shadow! Always been my girl, not often well behaved but I have recently noticed a distinct mellowing in her, a delight to walk and a real cuddlebot, better change my avatar to a piccy of Shadswak?
