........I've taken the plunge and 'planted' my Rocket seed potatoes tonight, they've been in the shed chitting for a while and coming along nicely, so I thought; 1st March, easy date to remember, nice warm few days, the soils dried out considerably from when I dug it a couple of weeks ago (it wasn't that bad then)....so the first batch are in. I've got some more to put in another square in my veg patch and a few in potato bags after they did quite well last year :sunny::dbgrtmb:

I planted three in containers in my greenhouse on sunday. The rest are waiting for me to prepare their bed, I was hoping to get them in this weekend but it's going to be rainy.

First 2 rows of Rocket spuds in small side bed, another 4 rows to go in next couple of days.
Would have had more done but been busy making some new staging and replacing the soffit and fascia on the house.
Noticed how dry the garden is,will need the hose pipe out if it dont rain soon, especially the hedge I dont think it will pick up from the hacking I gave it last year,I dropped the height by 1/2 a metre, and reduced the width by 1/4 metre.
