Aniseed/Liquorice rush !!

    Just came back from the garden, clutching a stalk from my fennel plant.:yay:

    They overwintered very well, and now I have a large crop to eat.:)

    Could not resist eating the stalk and the flavour just burst in my mouth:wow:

    I love it steamed, with bacon, and gnocchi.:whistle:

    Oh Joy !!:yes:
