I thought that while we're waiting for our sown seeds to germinate, and drumming our fingers for the first to show, we'd have another amble around the Retreat so that I could show what's happening.

Here's how the central path looks at the moment:

Here's how it should look in June:

Most of the paths are narrow as plants come first. But walking on paths in June onwards does give you the feeling that you're walking through the borders:

This is the front border on the lawn area. It's got in it, Hydrangea, Foxtail Lily, Blue Bells, Harebells, Primula, Chrysanthemum, Schizostylis, daffs, Sedum, around 20 25 Irises, and a few other things.

    Part of the bottom border:

My two big pots of Lilies pushing up out the the compost:

My Green House is now officially full!!

This is a small Japanese Prunus I've had for a couple of years. The stems twist and turn and the flowers are very pretty, very dainty.

A clump forming Aribis in the main central border, which has yet to make a clump!

Thanks everyone, I just thought it might cheer everybody up while we wait for some real sunshine, warm weather and Spring.........preferably altogether.

Some of the seedlings will be able to stand it outside with a little shelter when potted up. This year is probably the most sowing I have ever done, although there have been some years that have been close. There's still two large heated propagators inside the house chortling merrily away, and that doesn't include the four seed trays of tomatoes. Like I said, it's where the pots, around 65 to 70 odd are going to go.
                  All part of the fun!!

Actually, you're right Resonate!! The staging you see in the Green House was bought from Aldi which was being sold as Garage Shelving for £29. I would have bought two but it was the last one when I got there! So I'm keeping my eye out for something similar. We are a little crazy aren't we??:snork: We always buy too much seed, think we've got more space than we have, but so what........I like crazy:WINK1::hapydancsmil::rolleyespink:
