    Looks like a Brugmansia to me ... well, the white thing to the top right and the leaves but not sure because of the purple thing to the left.

        Could be, the shadows are confusing me (and the heat here, still 32c). Not a happy one though.

          No it isn't a happy one, those purple flowers should be standing upright, it probably needs watering.

            I agree with Michael, I have one just the same it's called Zantedeschia calla lily 'Black Star'. They do need a lot of watering mine every day, a good soaking.

              I have one, or rather two now as I split them up earlier this year, that I have had for 3 or 4 years. It was originally a birthday present from my son & daughter-in-law. I've managed to get it to flower every year since. As they have outgrown the space in the kitchen I moved them out onto the balcony, in the shadiest corner, which is hardly shady at all!

                It looks like one of the rehmannii cultivars of which I have many. They say not as hardy as the aethiopica types....I have several and elliotiana, but I've not had any issues with them planted out all year
