I'm sure a lot of you do this but it's handy for those who don't.
The clear plastic boxes you get strawberries etc in the supermarket. They have wee holes in the bottom and are quite deep. Ideal for rooting cuttings or growing seed. You can 'see' what's going on underneath the soil. :)

Since I've been told there not to go in the recycling bin I've been collecting them for that very use.

I've also been collecting them for that purpose, but haven't actually got round to using them, but I will at some point.

I use a lot of those trays ,the strawberry/grapes are like little greenhouses they have lids with holes in,

The larger flat trays you can make holes in for drainage with a hot skewer and they are perfect ,

Then you can use them for throwing labels in ,soaking in bleach to clean

I've just registered with this website and have just noticed this thread so while on the subject can I add that the black plastic trays that come with curries make great seed trays, some are divided into two compartments for rice and curry and are ideal for planting seeds in. I've been using them to plant my tomato seeds - a different variety in each compartment .
