    Hello all,
    My name is Graham I live in Halifax west yorkshire,I have 2 little girls Holly is 6 and Lucy is 3.
    I am a HGV class2 Driver for our local dairy.
    I came out of the Army 12 months ago.
    I got into gardening after leaving the army,my father in law has an allotment and I go up to help I find that this chills me out takes my mind elsewhere as I have seen alot of bad things.
    Recently I have turned part of my back garden into my own allotment but my wife wasn't best pleased?? never mind she'll be happy when I grow loads of veg. ;)

    Perhaps you could grow veg and maybe a few nice flowers for your wife as well?

    You'll get lots of enouragement here, and you can have a bit of fun too to take your mind off past things!

    Hi mickylove welcome to you.How lucky to have an allotment my name is on a waiting list but will be ages before I get one.They are like gold dust where I live.It makes me so angry to see allotment sites around the town that have been left unused for many years and yet so many people would dearly love to have a plot.
