Another newb :)

Hello all

I'm a new member here, and a complete novice! I tried to join in a sub-forum on my local city forum about gardening but they're all experts in everything to do with gardening, so I do hope you'll be a little gentle to me. Cherry tomatos come in a plastic tub from Morrisons to me, so you get the jist i'm very inexperienced!

I'm hoping I can have a browse around and pick up some little tips, and get to know other users and one day I could have a garden to be proud of!

Hiya Fizz, and a very warm welcome to you. Like you, I am a relative novice, only really been gardening for a year or so. If there was one solid piece of advice I'd give you, is to not bite off more than you feel you can cope with in growing and gardening.

Start small, and work your way up to larger projects.. I've tried to 'do it all' in the past and have failed dismally. Mind you, that's not to say you will, so don't be put off by trying something either...

Above all else, enjoy your time gardening!! Have fun!!! x

I did start (cheated?) with herbs. I bought them ready grown from asda, and they died. So, i've got a few seeds to look at, most say plant in April so fingers crossed i'll get somewhere with those. I dont expect to have everything for a few years yet, but just starting small with 'easy' things. I'm off to figure out why this is the first forum i've come across that is 'backwards' - how bizzare! :D
