    Hello all!

I have a small garden in my rented house. The previous tenants smothered everything except the "lawn" (a square of builder's rubble with grass on it) in gravel. I have been slowly removing it to reveal the beds underneath, but most of my growing is done in pots. No space for a shed or greenhouse.

My dream is to move to a house with a bigger garden, room for a wildlife pond and some chickens.

My little patch is doing well though; I have successfully grown potatoes, onions, garlic, strawberries, blueberries, and this year I'm growing wildflowers- and fighting off whitefly! The internet has been SUCH a help to a newbie like me- I would never have known what to do. Ecover washing up liquid sprays started me off, but the garlic and chilli really put paid to them!
