Another Tomato Question

I've got Several varietys growing on my kitchen windowsill [F1 Totem,Moneymaker,Bigboy,F1 Tumbler and Alicante] My question is when a 3rd shoot appears on the stem [3rd being middle] Do i cut it off????

 

tumbler and totem are a bush tomatoes, so don't need the 3rd stalk pinching out.

moneymaker, alicante,big boy are cordon type so will benefit from having it removed.

(I assume you mean that you are getting a new stem growing between a leaf stem and the main stalk?)

thats the way I understand it anyway, no doubt someone else will confirm or advise differently
