Ants

Due to thinking about someone else while I was making wine, I accidentally poured a whole bag of sugar in when it should have only been half a bag.

Not wanting the wine to come out too strong I scooped a pint of it out, the resulting mix of sugar & blackcurrant concentrate then set solid.

I thought i'd give it to our resident ants rather than throw it away.

To my surprise, they've been carefully removing the sugar, spreading it round the glass, so they can get to the blackcurrant.

Seems they're more interested in that

 

Health conscious ants? They don't want their teeth to rot.
