      See, I never 'got' Bob Dylan. All that wailing and moaning. Although not the same thing, when it comes to folk,I much prefer Roy Harper. He can sing, he can play the guitar, and he can play the harmonica....yeah!:)

        Me neither freddy!,its darran thats the fan but i have seen him in concert last yr which was quite cool and the tracks that have been leaked from his new album seem catchy compared to the droll im usually bombarded with :heehee:
        im just gobsmacked at the price of that album..ive put the last 2 bids on and still not met reserve :hate-shocked:

        Hiya Joolz.

        No doubt, I guess there's a rarity value with it. But, when it comes down to it, I only buy albums that I want to listen to. For me, Roy Harper is the unsung hero of British folk, and his recognition is long overdue! I saw him on the Jools Holland show, a while back, so sad to see him like that, as he's now quite old. But for me, his class shone through. No self respecting folk fan should be without, imo.:)
