Solved Any idea what this is? - Celmisia Spectabilis

My mother has had this growing in her Garden for over 30 years, it was there when she moved in. It was badly needing divided so I took one home last time I visited. It has already flowered earlier this year in its old home but as you can see I have a flower coming. The flowers are like large daisies. Any ideas? TIA

 

Could be Giant Hogweed

Looks like Celmisia sp.
I have seen many in Scotland, far more than in the South.

It is definitely NOT Giant hogweed...Just looked at previous thread by Lucyloo
and now understand the joke...don't listen to your Mum..she got your Sambucus nigra...Elderflower very very wrong!

Thank you all very much, definitely Celmisia Spectabilis. Hopefully it will be happy in its new home in the wet west of Scotland? Only time will tell I suppose.

 

It was thriving in a garden at Cove on the Rosneath peninsula, near Helensborough
