Solved Any ideas - Helleborus foetidus

    Any idea what this is. It looks too nice to be a weed and it has now come up in the same spot both springs so presuming a perennial. Thanks in advance

      Ooh yes that a Bear's Paw Hellebore - Helleborus foetidus I have a couple they are lovely plants to look at..

        Thanks for your replies. Sounds lovely. I think I will take some up for our perennial border as it is in the corner of the garden out of sight. I don't have a sense of smell so I'll be ok.

          Be careful when handling it as the sap can be a skin irritant.
