Any ideas what this is?

I've inherited this plant and I've no idea what it is. I've only seen it at this time of year so I don't know if it flowers!! The leaves have an amazing fruity smell.Anybody any ideas what it is. See link to get picture. Thankyou

Are the leaves quite tough? If so I would say it looks like a bay tree in serious trouble. They do have aromatic leaves-as you would expect from bay but not sure I would describe it as fruity-or particularly amazing so......



it could possibly be a lemon verbena-again not a very healthy one.

I would probably give it a dose of sequestrine-and look at planting it out.
