IMG_8456.JPG thought this was a weed at first but now not so sure.

Got a few of these around the front border... IMG_8454.JPG

Any idea what this climbing rose is?

The first photo looks like you have Spotted Laurel at the top but not sure of the plant underneath it so you might have to wait until it flowers and then take another photo.

The second plant looks as you say like a Mohonia, possibly Charity and the climbing rose could be anyone of hundreds, but @wiseowl might be able to help as he is the rose expert:smile:

Good morning @Kandy my friend thank you :smile:

@Snorky85 although the two images show a completely different shade of red because of the petal count and the texture of the rose I would go for "Dublin Bay"

If it is Dublin Bay @Snorky85 you will find it hasn't got much scent but will flower on and on all through the Autumn and into the winter months as we have one and it flowers it's heart out:biggrin:

@wiseowl should be able to give the best advice as when to take cuttings @Snorky85

The plant beneath the Laurel in the 1st image is Phlox. The Mahonia is, probably, M.aquifolia.
