    I was rooting around in a tub I planted one spare seed tatty in.
    And came across these... whatever they are.???
    They do squash and go pop...

    They look like eggs of some sort but I think a bit large for your average beastie.
    Under the scope does not really reveal anything.

    Good to hear from you. I did think it may be that but what got me thinking is.
    If its slow its very slow and has been in the bought in compost in a clump for the growing season.
    I hope you are right and I think you are as I just cant imagine what sort of beastie would come out of an egg that size.
    It may well be the organic potato fertilizer I used early on:gnthb:

    The thing is Rob, they don`t disolve to nothing. once the granules are done you just have these wet globules which "explode" quite messily when squeezed.:thumb:

    They look like slug eggs to me, so destroy them!

    I agree, I found some and kept watch until they hatched, dispose of them ASAP

    I'd be worried that they were eggs of some sort. maybe little dragon eggs :-)
