I think you may have hit the nail on the head, I can't say for sure if that's the name I was told but the pictures seem to confirm that they are one and the same.

 

It has several common names maybe these will trigger your memory.....
Pascuita, Snows of Kilimanjaro, White Small Leaf Poincettia, Snow Bush, White-laced euphorbia, Snow Flake, Poinsettia.
