Hello Spruce. I have them, along with their relatives Alocasia and Colocasia. The Colocasia lives outdoors permanently and the Caladium and Alocasia in an unheated outdoor living room. It is amazing the shapes of the leaves and the patterns and of course the colours on the Caladiums.

I also have three Begonia rex which have fascinating leaves.

I tried them half heartedly one year, without much success, but then I tend to struggle with Alocasia and colocasia.
        Not enough humidity and heat.
Thinking a shaded greenhouse would be best.

I bought Caladiums from Anglia Bulbs last year, along with a bunch of other things. Large sized bulbs in general, and good prices, so I recommend them as being good value for money (i.e. without sending you uselessly small plants etc like some of the cheap & cheerful suppliers).

But they failed to supply part of my order and as a result I had no Gladioli at all last Summer as whilst I waited patiently for them to arrive it became too late to reorder elsewhere, and their promise to "keep me informed" didn't work well, so they may be a victim of being a small outfit.
