Just checking to see if anyone has a set of The RHS Dictionary of Gardening that they no longer needed? (The link is a very posh set by the folio society...couldn't find any links with pictures of the old style set) before I purchase the Folio society's £110.00 edition I'm willing to pay between £50-70 pounds for a secondhand set, probably sometime in January

Surely they can't be selling that for £29.95, that's an absolute bargain.

On the basis that you buy another 4 books at a minimum of £19.95 each works out at roughly £110.00:o so I'd be lumbered with 4 books I'd never read

Got ya, didn't read into it that much, shame really,

It's not something I have but will keep my eyes open for you as I look through alot of charity shops for my books :)

It might be a long shot but try freecycle.

Same with me I've picked almost all of my most interesting gardening books from charity shops although my best bargain so far has got to be the RHS colour chart on ebay a few days ago for £10.00:yho:

Thanks everyone but for now i think i might keep my money in my pocket as I'm sure it will go cheaper elsewhere and I'm also not sure if theres likely to be a reprint as demand for the book is reasonably high and the last time it was printed in the UK was 1999 so you never know!
