Any one own a coffee plant

    Hey guys I recently bought a coffee plant one because I love coffee and two because its a really nice looking plant
    Any way I have been trying to read up on them a bit but its hard to find advice apart from the same basic information so has any one here got one ? How long you had it ? What size is it ? Any care information you can give me much apricate s

    started from seeds 3 years ago , they are about 1 foot high , the only advice I can give you is lots of heat and don`t let ever dry the plants , mines have survived the winter just about , but are coming back .....this weather don`t help them at all .

    if you plan to drink your own coffee , no a chance :snork:

    Thanks mine are bout 10 inch at most
    I don't plan on drinking them I just think its ace to be growing a coffee plant I will make shore they don't dry out then I read they don't like to sit in water

    true , never too wet , never too dry and don`t use cold water , overall
    a friend of mine in Italy have managed to get coffee out of his 7/8 years old plant

    the plant is potted , spend all winter in his bathroom and the rest of summer outside .

    Obviously mine was too dry as it only lasted a year sadly.

    I have put mine outside - just been trying to empty the house. But it hates this cold weather, the top leaves have gone brown and are rotting - so its inside again.
