Anyone a Fan of Etsy and Folksy?

Is anyone else a fan of Etsy or Folksy (Etsy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) I find their great places to get gifts for people:D I'm currently having a lady in the US make me a stiff fabric book cover (see attachment) to go over my new fungi book (it's a very flimsy paperback) and it's costing me less then £10 delivered:OUCH: I think maybe they are better for buyers then sellers on some things as they are so under priced:o

anyone else a fan?

Thanks Aesculus, never heard of that before but definitely something I'll look at. I like having a more personal touch to my purchases

 

Well I used Etsy about a year ago and then completely forgot about it:DOH: but after I bought a couple of books off Amazon and realised how flimsy they were (and they are meant to be field guides as well:OUCH I Google'd for some book covers but they are odd sizes so I thought I'd see if I could get a couple made

I can't wait see how they turn out

 

I am an absolute fan of ETSY which I have discovered not so long ago.
It is "me" in so many ways...

Would like to see that Aesculus as I am debating one for an Xmas pressure. What was the postage like?

 

Not too bad I think I paid about $4 and it arrived within a week

 

That's a good price! Especially if it took a week. Think I'll have a look for a little something for my sister, she'd love that kind of thing.

 

I had mine made by Handmade Gifts Crayon wallets notebook covers & by OurLittleMesses if your interested and I was mroe then happy! it even came in retail packaging which they'd made up and it looked fab all for about $15 including postage and it was a custom job for a big book

 

Looks FAB Aesculus!! I love their little emblem on the inside!! Will have a look at the designs, although I am quite taken by the one you have. Now you'll never forget where your fungi book is
