After Camelot announced that there upping the prices of the usual lotto ticket (which I occasionally buy and win nothing) I thought I'd start doing the Irish instead

Anyone else given it a go?

I'm thinking of doing a 10p Trixie (4 separate bets, 3 doubles and a treble) on all 3 draws which will cost me £1.20 a ticket and all I've got to do is just match two to win £6 or three to win me £78

If I've worked that out correctly

The Irish Lottery only go up to 42, unless it`s changed since I left Eire, your calculations of the trixie are correct 3 doubles 1 treble, but if your unit stake is 10p you will only get a 10th of the winnings, as they calculate possible winnings to a pound/euro.

Goes upto 45 now pamsdish :)

So yes that's right then £78 as if I did it at a £1 unit stake it would come out at £780
