Very nice BM, I used to grow them in my pond as a marginal, but they seem to do well in dryer spots as well.
Is that that large one, think its called "Crowborough"?

Yes and it grows straight in the ground next to a tree so its a bit dryer than it should be. Shows you shouldn't be put off growing it as a normal border plant.

Waco I have seen some weird and wonderful colours for these plants but it has to be white for me too, such a pure white as well. :D

I have heard that in S Africa at certain times of the year there are masses of these growing at the sides of the roads.
It must be quite a spectacle, maybe one day. [IMG]

[IMG] Lovely pics BM & Suedobie.. I love the white ones too. I usually have loads of flowes by now, but I had to move both my clumps & they have spent all their time establishing themselves so far this year. [IMG] I have lovely healthy clumps but no flowers as yet..... :( I keep looking & hoping.....

I have some for the first time this year - they haven't flowered yet, as I've had to keep them in pots, but I have one called Pink Mist - its white, but with a slight pink tinge in the throat - its beautiful!!! I also have 4 pure white ones, but the one I really wanted, and cost me a fortune, was called Green Goddess. Its white with a green throat. Unusual, but just as stunning - but that rotted and didn't even shoot :( :(

Lovely plants BM ...here with the garden being 7/8 weeks ahead of the UK our Arum's have been flowering for a while ....they withstand our dry/HOT conditions so I don't think you need to move them ..they seem to increase in number every year ......

The Green Goddess that Honey Bee mentions is the largest of the Arum's and can grow to 7' in height ! they like shady moist places....

Does anyone grow Cannas ? another stunning 'lily' that grow in abundance here.. M-L

I have some callas that I planted a bit late this year, they've got big leaves a bit chewed by something, but I hope they will flower.
I've also got some cannas, planted at the same time, still small, so I don't know if they will flower.
