It is variously called biscotti, cantucci or cantuccini. Lovely flavour but extremely hard. However, dunk them as they're intended to be and they're sublime. Not for tea in my opinion but totally perfect for really good coffee. Also rather splendido with Amaretto :blue thumb:

Irony? I don't celebrate Christmas but opposite where I live is a Christmas tree plantation with trees already felled ready for shipment.

I love Christmas and my tree, I've had this one for 3 years ( artificial obviously) my last one lasted nearly 20 years! I try to be

I can cope with the plantation Loki, in there they are just trees with no glitter. In fact there was a plantation opposite the place I rented before moving here. That was on a narrow single track road (the same as here) with passing places and blind bends. Scary coming face to face with a blooming great Eddy Stobart lorry that's just picked up a load. :hate-shocked:

                      Too true! :noidea: Doctor's orders!

I don't like biscotti for the same reason as before and because they need dunking in the coffee.

I know about cookies (Americanisms - Pahh!) but never tasted JavaScript. Is that a different type of coffee from the basic Java?

I'm not a fan of dunking but for biscotti I make an exception. There is a definate knack to biscotti dunking and eating.
