Can you recommend a garden to visit in Dumfries or surrounds, it must be wheelchair accesible, can anyone help?

    Many thanks!

Hi Steve. The Logan Botanic Gardens at Stranraer are certainly worth a visit. Lots of sub tropical plants due to the mild climate. I'm not sure how wheel chair accessable but if you have a google there's lots of information and you could ring them.

I like Drumlanrig Castle and gardens, though I think they are at their best in spring. They have disabled facilities so presumably are wheelchair accessible.

Just got back today from D&G.
Castle Kennedy is Wheelchair accessible, although is is mostly grass paths, so assistance may be needed (oh for a "Pushy Partner" eh?)
Here's a Link. Lochinch Castle is although there.

Be wary though - OH cost me a packet in the Plant Shop:what:
