If this is the large flowered one I would think that it's not an outdoor variety, Does it have the variety on it?
Outdoor jasmines aren't flowering yet, but they do smell lovely when they get big enough for all their small flowers to add up.
Winter jasmine [jasminum nudiflorum] is yellow and winter flowering, but to my nose doesn't have much smell.

I presume it's an outdoor one, but wouldn't say that the flowers are that big. There white and pinkish. Unfortunatley it doesn't say what type it is, but it smells sooooooo nice!!

I'd take a picture but i'll prob cock it up like last time!! hee hee

    I have a jasmin called:
    Trachelospermum Jasminoides

I bought it after I went on holiday to Rome and it was growing nearly everywhere (we were staying in a residential area) the perfume was captivating and i kept having to smell it,this one has small white flowers.

There is no sign of life from it at the moment though hoping it will be okay and spring into life soon.

I used to have one with the small pinkish/white flowers bit we,ve had to cut it down to make room for another project, that one was climbing through a small tree and again the perfume was gorgeous. :D

I think it should be growing strongly by now, I have the white, the pinkish white one and a less hardy red one, and they are all sprouting vigorously but not yet flowering. I think something has happened to it... :(

Sorry! Ididn't even cover mine, they die right back but they're only grown from cuttings from my previous garden. The red one overwintered in the greenhouse. I don't know if it smells yet but the other 2 are lovely as you say.
Morrisons here has got the white and the red at the moment ,nice strong plants and cheap. [IMG]
