And how much watering should I be giving it.
I've heard that some don't like too much water as it will rot the bulbs.
But some like more, and this one is getting a LOT of sun.

    Thanks
    Andy

Perfect - its against the house in my South facing garden so plenty of sun it gets.

I won't hold back on the watering, its in a tall container (over a foot tall) so I more or less empty a watering can in there every other day. Looks healthy enough to me.

Will it survive winter? How should we care for it when summer's over?

It certainly looks very happy so you are doing it right.. When they finish flowering & you have dead headed I like to give mine a good feed then before they start to die down for the winter.. I overwinter mine in a very sheltered spot at the side of the big shed, so not really exposed to the weathers extremes & they came through last winter just the same as any.. Fine.. :thumb: One tip though, don't put them in the garage or shed & let them dry out completely during the winter as like as not you will have no bulbs for next year, they need to be kept moist..! Then in the Spring when the now shoots are showing I carefully scrape off the top few inches of compost & replace with fresh.. Then I also give them a good feed in May I think & they start to take off then.. :thumb:
