Anyone raise quail

Hi all

Just wondered how many people on here raise quail for eggs and meat.

 

Judging by the lack of response, bozie, not many! Welcome to Gardeners Corner. I don't raise quail but I know a very nice man who does We also have them running around in the fields here (so I'm told..I've never spotted one). Do you raise them? Are they difficult?

Yeah they are easy to keep. Out of all poultry they take up the least room food and time. Plus they are amazing to sit and watch lol


That is my hutch and run, hand built out of recycled pallet wood and loft boarding.



These are my babies 4x female and 1 male, the lucky sod.

We are but a week away from eggs I do believe, but saying that we are almost coming to autumn in England so may not get any till spring
