    Hi,

I have been having a bit of a battle with greenfly on my roses for the last couple of weeks.
I've been spraying with rose clear, which seems to work for 4-5 days, then they come back.
I've just looked this morning and they have now been joined by black ones and also reddy/brown ones.
This Rose clear is costing me a fortune (£16 already) and if I have to do this all summer then my house will get repossesed!!!
Does anyone have any tips or money saving advice?
My elderly neighbour told me to use soapy water.

    Thanks

Do what your neighbour says and use soapy water, it works as good as anything.

:)Aphids :)Hi Bashy this is what I use it works for me (One cup of vegetable oil Plus One Tablespoonful washing up Liquid mixed together)
and then One Tablespoonful of this concoction add to one Cup of Water,it makes a lot of spray. :) The soapy water won,t do it on its own all that does is it makes the Aphids easier to rub off with your Fingers. :)

To save a bit of money try one of the concentrated bug killers that you dilute with water and refill the empty spray guns. IIRC there is one that controls aphids and Black spot and other fungi.
