Appeared in the greenhouse.

This grass with a star burst seed head has appeared in a pot in the greenhouse. Any ideas?

Seems it has differnt names maybee....

Your photo shows it in flower but it resembles mine normally.

not much difference between that and the Cyperus is there ? also it says in a book i have that cyperus are sedge like lol

Anyway, thanks for the Papyrus ID. When I told 'Er indoors, who is the real gardener here, that peeps thought it was papyrus she replied"Oh good. I thought that was lost a few years ago. Never seen the flowers before."
I just hew the wood, pour the concrete, install the taps, wire the lights, light the BBQ etc.
