Hi, i am about to attempt growing apple trees (2 x bramley & 1 x Cox) for the first time. I would like to train them to grow along some wires i have put in place to form a cordon. Can anyone give me some advice on how to shape them, is it too late now to start pruning? There are no signs of blossom on the trees but they do have buds on.

    Many thanks in advance
