Apple Tree Pest Control

How can I stop Pests from burrowing into my lovely Worcester Apples.

 

By burrowing I guess you mean maggots.

Could it be this one,

Main problem I have is starlings, they peck every apple.
My trees were a total loss yet again this year.

 

Thanks for useful tip. What causes leafs to curl and black spots too, please.

 

Leaves can curl if they get infested with aphids, but there are probably other reasons.

As to black spots, well I get a few on mine, but I dont worry too much about it.
