    Hi all,
As you know I don't post here cos I know nothing:dh: But I have a question for you.

My b-i-l said that he reckons the reason his apple tree is producing small apples that are falling is because the bees aren't about so much. What do you reckon? I know there's alot of talk about bee decline but could this be the reason?

    cheers

If the bees hadn't pollinated them, they wouldn't have set at all..... there's time yet for them to swell!

It's normal for them to lose some half formed apples at this time of year.. it's called the June drop (yes... I know it's July).... It's just the tree's way of not producing too many for it's system to cope with
