Hi everyone, once again well done to all that entered!!

re kathy3 and the date stamp thingy. As far as I understand it, you don't need to set your camera up to stamp the date on the front of the photo as i'm sure most people agree it can and does detract from a photo. ( the point master is trying to make )

What was asked was, can enterants ensure that the date and time settings are correct on their cameras if possible. The reason is, it is possible to get details from a digital image about when it was taken, using what camera, the settings etc. If the date on the camera isn't set correctly, it will look like the photo was taken at a different time and therefore look like it wasn't taken in the month of the comp.

for example, and I'm NOT saying rosa didn't take her photo this month, but the data on her photo's suggests she took them on 11/03/2007 at 0404hrs and 0406hrs! Obviously this isn't the case, it would have been impossible to take the photo's then cos it would have been dark!! but I also know that roders, our winner, took his at 1245hrs on 19/04/08 using a canon ixus 850is at a speed of 1/125 sec apterture 2.8 with no compensation!!!

hope that all makes sense and I understand the rules correctly!!
