Are my rose bushes dead?

Hi,

I planted three tosh bushes in my front garden, two red and one white. Whilst the white one is flourishing (will need pruning advice later on!), the two red ones don’t look like they’ve taken at all, and I think are most likely dead! Can anyone tell me if they’re are salvageable?!

No rose expert by any means, but they do look dead, I can see a circle in the grass probably from when they were first planted but the grass has grown around the rose which wouldn't have helped in it's establishing.

 

I'd say only the white rose is alive. Advice. Stake it so that the stem has some support, also that long branch, I'd check to see if this could be cut back so as to keep some balance and shape. The grass around the base can be removed as this is taking nitrogen from the rootball.

I'd be pretty sure the reds are dead, with the white one I have a feeling the three lower shoots are rootstock and only the top one the actual variety.

 

What sort of roses are they? Can't see the label very well.

 

They are obviously standards and IMO should have been staked.
Just wondering if root rock might have played a part in the death.

 

I thought that they were but just checking. They should have been staked when planted.
