Are these seeds?

Just appeared on my magnolia - never seen them before! I think theyre beautiful

 

They are seed pods. The red beads are the seeds. Sow them now and in years to come you will have (if you are lucky and clever) lots of Magnolia trees.

Sounds a bit too involved for my gardening prowess as yet :(

 

In that case, just do as they would naturally and sow them in a corner of the garden and leave them to see what happens. you have nothing to lose after all.
