    Hello,
I run a small landscaping company & have been asked to cut down some mature Yew trees. I remember reading a while ago that the leaves are used in the manufacture of drugs.. for cancer I think? Any one know of a company who collects them?

    Thanks
    James Cherry

I would think that the wood may be worth something as there are not that many that are felled because of where thay are, Churchyards, and their age - they can live hundreds of years and have protection orders, and that they are poisonous so are not widely planted and rarely seen on farmland.

    Good luck in your search
